There is a mother Sara who goes to church with my mother; she married into a family that has been members for a long time. I ran into another member Kim at the court house getting tags; she showed me pictures of her children who are in high school. They are related to my exhusband who died and, according to another church member, they also had a funeral next door to his at the same time. I saw Kim's daughter a bit later in the newspaper getting a huge award for rescuing a lady Mae who rolledher car down the hill into the lake with the window already rolled down trying to committ suicide. The daughter was dropping her younger brother off at soccer practice. The hill was right below a trailer owned by Alley,a friend of my daughter at the back entrance to the state park. Another friend of hers sings the Jerry Lewis song, "me and Homer Jones and big John Talley have a big craps game out in the alley." There is a large white house at the entrance to that street where a student nicknamed Dipper caught the bus when I was growing up; this year there was a 2.5 story Santa in front of the house for several months.
Sara got an English scholarship to the local university; I was working next door when one of the technicians was assigned to read Grimm's fairy tales by her english teacher at the same school. The county medical examiner in the area is Gretel Stevens. A patient named Hansel also came in to that store. Phil Stevens is an area regional manager for Lowe's who lived at one time and may still in NC.
When my children were small, they played at the Cobb's house who have now moved to Nashville. (My exhusband's sister and Ms.Cobb have the same first name; she lives in Virginia.) Sara's sister-in-law moved into the first house that came available near the Cobb's, a couple of doors down. I worked with a lady named Lewis whose friend Sara showed up where I was working in Elizabethton the same time that my son said he met someone named Sara on facebook and they went out one evening. Another Lewis relative followed me into that same store the first day that I worked chatting the family up; shortly after that, there was a Top Shelf truck in my driveway, next to me at the grocery store, and behind me on the interstate. Another employee at my work reported to me that it was sitting in the parking lot at the front of the store the following day (a 30 minute drive from my house.)
I saw in People 2005 that Anderson Cooper was named one of the 20 sexiest men. I was looking at 2007 and noticed 2 very odd pages. One was astronaut Lisa Nowak pictured over a VT victim. The other was President Bush comforting a veteran Clark; same name as another astronaut on the Columbia space shuttle who is related to a local former alderman in our town and attended William Horlick high school. This picture was over the Bush twins and Laura Bush. Jenna had a Sesame puppet in her hand; they were at a Mae charity event. The Texas governor's mansion burned on June 8. The article that I read said the roof should be back on by October. Columbus Day is the national holiday in October. Trick or treat.
My aunt's daughter, last name Steele, moved here from Florida/SC naval base and bought a house on old stage coach road. One of her kids names starts with "Aa", another has the same name as the church, and another has a name one letter off from the county attorney's daughter(similar name to county attorney). Maybe we are at the "beginning" or "the source." Life is a stage; evidently sometimes the stage uses government property and resources as props to help the issues along a bit, give them a nudge in the prefered direction. There are two Robin's in the church; one of them works in a town called Sevierville.
What was it Sara Palin,44, from Alaska said? The only difference between a soccer mom and a pit bull is lipstick. I was working with a girl named Tandy one day when she got several phone calls regarding Stanley whose pit bull attacked a girl playing in a trailer park with her grandfather. The police officer had the same name as a local state Tennessee state senator Ramsey who went to high school with the county attorney. My opinion is this: sometimes people are given Candy; sometimes they are given Tandy as in trouble with a capital T. My oldest daughter lives on Stanley Avenue below Peachtree St. (next to Fall Street). There is a local pharmacy that has a pharmacist Grimm, another pharmacist whose family is on Fall Creek road and who went to school in Atlanta, and another who went to school in NC and was in the navy in Jacksonville, Florida where the Steele's were stationed before moving to SC. Patsy Ramsey was a beauty queen in West Virginia before moving to Atlanta. A pharmacist transferred from West Virginia to the pharmacy below Rowe's pharmacy which is across the street from a number of duplexes and the pharmacist in charge is married to a Virginia police officer. Rowe's son was in a picture for the local pharmacy school, and this pharmacist always arranged the entertainment for the annual Christmas parties. One of my youngest daughter's friends lives in the same area as a historic mansion next to Big Elm that is owned by an OBGYN; a police officer's house on Forrestdale in that area burned down. I ate dinner one evening with someone who wore a Nathan Bedford Forrest hat throughout the meal. NB Forrest started the KKK. Forrest Ave. in a neighboring town is next to the Girl Scout office and a prominent pharmacist lives on that road who had a pharmacist named Stanley employed there when my daughter got into trouble in NC. I ran into her one other time later at a meeting in Knoxville after which a black guy walked all through the meeting from left to right with a black print shirt that looked like a stray cat Bindy that had just arrived at our house. Kroger's rode payroll comes from Elm Hill Pike in Nashville. A Lewis family member once told me five minutes after she met me that she organized a church trip to Alaska and said she had been to seminary. I wanted to ask her if she meant semenary since she was married to an OBGYN but managed to refrain myself. Personally, I always seem to be cruising on the road trip from hell with one foot in the cemetary. I worked with a pharmacist whose wife counselled pregnant teens for the city. He said she liked to go to Hale Springs Inn for special occassions. It's backend recently fell off after a low flying helicopter was seen in the area.
A police officer who was in front of me in line for B.Roberts funeral came into the Grimm pharmacy one day with his wife prior to this and winked at me. Another church family at my mother's church is Winkle; I may be mistaken but I think they are associated with a bank. I stopped by my great aunt Bea's on Warpath Drive out of curiosity after being scheduled in Virginia with a Bea who was married to Joe. Aunt Bea lives with a lady I have always known as Jo. Immediately the phone rang and she said it was the bank. Then she asked me if I knew that her real name is Laura. No, I did not. There was a Laura Bush on my daughter's high school dance team. Also at Bea's store was a Suzanne who moved to Richmond and a Sylvia Hill who went to Walgreens. Walgreens had planB picketers in Illinois (situation is sick) when I was working below Rowe's pharmacy. Anderson Cooper around that time acquired a new partner Erica Hill who said that her husband liked to hang out with "roadies" in California. I think Route 66 goes straight to Santa Monica. My youngest daughter with s/sx of fragile X in girls earned $66 at Ryans after one week of employment then her dad died and Ryans went bankrupt. Steve Spurrier in SC earned a Heisman in 66. My vacation went from 6h to 13h that same month. I should have had around 80h by that time. Bill Frist was investigated for insider trading on a stock sale that took place 6-13. He was on the news 4 days after my birthday quoted as saying ..."I am in a terrible, terrible, terrible, terrible position to run for President...". My vacation finally went to 30h and then to 40h. It was incorrect the entire year. At that point, I seemed to have landed in the hills and the "bees." PlanB. After my exhusband died, I decided to go to planC; I plan to see what other jobs are out there. I am not into "underground" or even the appearance of a Roe v Wade "underground." Columbia/HCA was fined $3 billion right after I left for keeping 2 sets of books; it was the largest fine in corporate history I read somewhere on the internet. Sometimes all it takes is a "wink" and/or a "nod" to get the job done in Patsyland.
Gov. Kaine, a Democrat, was in Castlewood today campaigning with Joe Biden. That is near Wise,Virginia where there was trouble with officials buying elections with beer and pork skins. His wife,Ann, the daughter of a Republican governor, grew up in Big Stone Gap, the site of the Virginia state play. A long time live in friend of my uncle from Clinchport acted in it when I was small. I worked in that town once on Wood Ave. the day before we went to Ft.Leonard Wood, and the first two narcotics of the day were off by 5. President Bush hosted a 5 course white tie dinner for the Queen at the White House not too long after that. The English correspondent on CNN covering the affair bent over with his butt to the TV audience and flipped his white tails in the air; he was showing how to sit for the Queen. He looked like a duck to me. My aunt from Tallahassee has 44 on her red focus car tags; there was a Baker,44, at the local hospital in the ER altering narcotic records, and the NASA shooting immediately after the VT shooting was in building 44 and involved a Beverly. There was a Beverly who worked at a local OBGYN office killed in an odd car accident in NC; my exhusband and his sister lived next door to her for a while then she was in Memphis oddly around the time I was there. The wife of the OBGYN in Hemlock park was also there at that same time.
Anne Kaine was recently pictured at the play with her daughter and a friend Emma. I worked at HCA with a lady Emma who moved from Nashville to be close to her nephew; it reminded me of the wizard of Oz--aunti em, aunti em. My brother died at Emmett bridge near Bluff City. My oldest daughter had her wisdom teeth removed at an oral surgeon's office on Princeton; she was first sent to an office of his in a nearby town by the dentist. Her appointment was scheduled during Bob Barker's 35th anniversary special of The Price is Right. Gov. Kaine was in Wise playing harmonica on the Crooked Road after this; the next time I was worked in Elizabethton there was Monica from Arkansas. Someone had hired (har'd,slang) Monica. Well come on down; the price is right. My cousin Rick from Ohio once brought a list of southern slang expressions to a family reunion at the tunnel in Clinchport. One day I was travelling to Lone Star on the interstate when a car came tumbling across the median near the State of Franklin, Old Navy exit. It was dusk and I was squinting to see the twinkling lights until I realized that there was a car behind them, then I ran over off the median into the grass and barely avoided a collision. My son Neal worked at Burger King with John who married a girl Sara from the King and Prince area in SC; they live in Atlanta. John's mother is an MD affiliated with the local university and hospital and his dad is an engineer. The manager who was dating a store manager where I was assigned at the time called one day to tell me that the social security information had my son listed as a girl in the system. The Burger King closed and was replaced by a State of Franklin bank.
Sometimes the light at the end of the tunnel really IS a train. Sometimes if the train is "underground", there maybe a train but no lights; one is smashed to pieces shortly after hearing a rumbling sound approaching from the distance. (that's patsyland for you.) Carrie's friend Mark wears a Mexican jacket; he had me take him to Walmart one night and sat with his back to the front of the store and asked me to go find Carrie. She and Lisa were in the drink section. He drinks tons of natural ice beer. The Franks family with the medical school and the local university took Carrie ice skating in NC when they first arrived in town. CNN featured the longest tunnel with lights under the border into the US from Mexico that came up in a warehouse. Bill Frist was featured on TV then over border issues. Weirhauser is a local factory that used to be called Meade. Their home office is in Ohio; we had a family on our street briefly when the kids were in middle school who worked for them and moved back there. The kids were Courtney,Matt and Jenna. A monstrous tree fell behind their old house during a recent storm with high winds. It is sort of like the small world thing--small but not that small; high but not that high. There were UFOs seen over Texas that turned out to be military planes; they were in the area of Crawford (Stephenville). Jenna Bush married the son of a prominent Republican in Washington. Maybe it was a shotgun wedding. When I worked at IPMC, there was a pharmacist Henry who liked to chat with the nurses and sold them cokes out of the pharmacy refrigerator that technically were not suposed to be in the there but no one seemed to care. (SOP) He accepted a job as director on a road named Princeton after another employee at HCA gave him a birthday cake with 2 big boobs on it. After that some of the employees brought a TV into the IV room, put scoreboards on the walls, and bet on the games. Somewhere along the way, I learned to never think that things cannot get any worse. Trust me, they can. Did I want to be in management? No. There are situations in this world that are borderline impossible to manager or control, and I am not an aggressive person. That one was a perfect example. At Baptist Hospital in Memphis, I recall that there was a rotating schedule with approximately 50-60 pharmacists counting management. There was not one woman supervisor in any department in which I worked. Not one anywhere that I saw. What is the Mary Chapin Carpenter song--the stars might lie but the numbers never do. Did I want to be a manager there? Obviously no. I am not an aggressive person. The gossip tended to run in that direction for an obvious reason (back to the numbers). It discouraged "ideas" that were taken as complaints against "the system." Because I am not aggressive, it takes a lot for me to complain. Therefore, if I "throw a fit" over something, it is not only rare; it is also probably a tremendous problem.
Mark just came in to use the microwave. He threw a CD out of Carrie's car low on the passenger side, put on his mexican jacket, took his shoes off, and handed CDs out to truckers when she stopped outside of Knoxville right before the Andrew Speaker TB incident that involved the CDC in Atlanta. Mr. Shelton whose daughter had a baby the year of Roe v Wade when we were in high school sat next to me at Firestone when I kept having to return after my 90,000 mile service/$920 because indicator lights kept coming on; someone had shot out their front door and cars in the parking lot. He told me the story about being scared because a bird was pecking at a plastic snake at the window and said his daughter was returning from the beach (from exactly where I was supposed to be at that moment before my car trouble). Thirteen snakes were stolen from the PetCove next to a Kingsport alderman's restaurant. Sometimes the snakes are real; sometimes they are big and mean. Their was a guy who resembled Bill Mahr standing there whose car seemed to have been shot asking me if this happends often. Oh yes, all the time.
There was a Billy Fowler(my maiden name) on CNN in Jena White tree episode. My parents years ago played scrabble with a family whose son Billy went to NASA in Houston to work. He was quite smart; I always walked to the store for comic books. Archie was my favorite--Jughead, Veronica, Betty, and Reggie/maybe it was Ritchie. Carrie was missing and turned up on Arch Street at a boarding house the week her art picture came out in the paper and the same time that a woman's body was found dead in a field on the front page news. My aunt told me a story once about how her husband thought that his dad was rich because he lived in a big house that turned out to be a boarding house. The perceptions of children are not necessarily always accurate. How much more terrorizing can it get? They have a mean dog Gunsmoke, and my dad said she turned up at a family reunion with holster's and 6 guns. I probably should go to the Chester Inn in Jonesborough for the National Storytelling Festival/Ghost Stories.
