The Davidson's from the KFD moved across the street from us around the time my aunt moved to the Tallahassee fire marshall's office. They moved into the house from which the Watson's had moved. I was introduced the first day one summer that I worked in a factory in town to S Davidson and hung out with him a bit. I had already met my someone at Jr.Achievement with friends Potter, Richmond, King, and Meade. His middle name was Love which was supposedly after a Tennessee governor. I think that I figured out at an early age not to comment on such things. I must have said something "inappropriate" at one time after being in Mrs. Cox first grade class because the older kids at the end of the street came up the hill one day playing army and captured me and took me to a cinderblock building and made me sit on a stool for a long time and be quiet. I asked another kid sitting on the floor if they were going to kill me. One pharmacist that I worked with later who grew up near the duplex came to work the first day that I worked with her carrying a stool and then invited me to swim in her parent's swimming pool. Mrs. Cox in first grade had pulled up my dress and played in my naval around the time Patty S's mother died from a brain hemorrhage (The story I was told anyway, and the entire class brought her presents.) She grew up and married a Barger. My aunt in the duplex had a baby Patti around that same time. After getting a fever blister which resulted in a herpes outbreak over my entire face and then getting shingles from chicken pox, I think that I decided around the age of 8 or 9 that I wanted absolutely no part of the current situation. A bit too intense for my taste, I guess. Whatever the taste of an 8 or 9 year old might be.
I ran into S. Davidson again one morning after my youngest daughter C's car alarm went off at midnight. He came to a pharmacy where I was working and said that someone sat next to him at a music session and mentioned my name. He lives on Summerville Road and has a cat Midnight that looks exactly like my oldest daughter's cat Sterling that she left at our house when she moved into an apartment where the cat was not welcome. There is a groomers way down on the end of this same road. When I was in elementary school, my dad was involved in a nasty strike and went back to work. S.Davidson says that his dad shot "scabs" that went back to work during that strike. Wilson Pharmacy in the area has the local dog pound over it; they had a speaker come down once and asked for dog food donations.
C. was introduced to her friend Marcus through another friend whose father is a physician in the ER of a local hospital; their last name is Bacon. Marcus has a large heart tatoo on his chest and an large eagle tatoo on his back. My aunt's brother lives below this hospital on Robertson Street which happends to be the same road in Nashville on which the pharmacy board is located. There is generally a green Grand Am parked at the entrance to this street. C. recently was introduced to another friend who also drives a green Grand Am, Lisa Phil. Marcus (Mark) has an aunt Thelma Alley who lives in a trailer at the back entrance to the state park. C. met Marcus there in addition to Bill and Tom. Mark sings the Jerry Lewis song, "me and Homer Jones and big John Tally have a big craps game out in the alley." When my husband and I lived in Memphis, a couple moved across the street immediately after my brother died. They had a small son Tommy that they called Tommy the Judge because he never smiled. There was a pharmacist couple who moved nearby from Nashville and bought a house near the RR track; the female said her dad was a Nashville judge and that there were 4 girls in her home growing up. The entrance to my childhood subdivision has a house that sits by the RR track; it resembles a cash register with decks in the front and on the side. Sort of reminds one of a toll booth.
When we returned to our hometown from Memphis, the first OBGYN that I called told me to go to the health department. I went to a new physician in town who later moved to Dayton,OH where I have a large family of cousins. He did this after I became pregnant with an IUD immediately after insertion (surgical procedure) and had a D&C at the hospital. I had C sections with adhesion problems during the deliveries and thought an IUD was quite the responsible decision. It should have been. My aunt in Ohio died around this time and her oldest daughter divorced and moved her children, Mike and Lisa, to Winston Salem. My oldest daughter Laurel got into trouble on a ski trip in NC in college. Hindsight is always 20/20. My aunt had brought a youth group skiing at Wolfe Laurel from Florida when L. was in early high school and my parents went to meet her. My mental alarm bells should have immediately started to go off, especially since there was a friend named Niki from Summerville Road coming over frequently and the ski trip also included someone named Scarrata (sort of sounds like a scar fest, preplanned to boot).
I worked with one pharmacist, Alan, who married a lady in the business office and hung antiabortion rally notices on the inside of the pharmacy door. I do not have a Roe v Wade big agenda but there are obviously people who do. My issue with them is this; they are extremely inconsistent. Some right to life, big agenda people are very, very into the rights of the unborn. However, the do not seem to have a problem with using people around them and disrupting the lives of those "already born" to get themselves into positions of power or control and to get attention to satisfy their personal desires and wishes. I have no use for this whatsoever. L. was rooming at the time of her troubles with a lifelong friend from preschool who had shown me an eagle tatoo on her back that went from shoulder to shoulder. This same friend wore a huge orange boa across the stage at college graduation. (The colors of the college were not orange.) Their preschool director moved to the university preschool/daycare after a new minister was brought from Tallahassee and the church split.
My family went to Virginia to a high school graduation. The graduate was attending William and Mary and I was told his new roommate was from Alaska, the son of a physician. He went to visit them once and went hunting there. The family stayed one night in a motel because of a water heater problem; immediately upon return, I received an anonymous telephone call about an OBGYN appointment in Knoxville involving my oldest daughter who was in high school. I changed it to a closer physician's office and went along. Immediately 4 very strange things happened. My daughter's friend James was stabbed multiple times to death down the street from another James whose mother was a teacher and whose dad worked at the university. Next our neighbors with the same last name as my cousins in NC won a car in a Vegas lottery. The nurse next to me at work had a new red jeep with a Snoopy tire cover won in a lottery. Her mother stood in for her. Both families are teacher families. Then the pharmacy got a liver transplant child, MD dad, from the same local OBGYN office where I took my daughter. The day John Glen had a car accident on an exit ramp going the wrong way, my first prescription of the day was from Laurel OBGYN in Knoxville; the last prescription of the day was a transfer from Hilliard,OH. The pharmacist that I spoke with made certain that I knew they were located near Columbus. There was a Laurel Blair Salton Clark on the Columbia space shuttle related to a local alderman. This astronaut worked on women's health issues, was a navy diver, and was referred to according to an internet article that I saw as "floral Laurel". CNN spelled the name Lisa Nowak, another astronaut, as Novak I saw on the internet. There was an attorney general in Saltville, Virginia working on underage children issues in the local news. Nowak and Clark were both names in the Virginia Tech shooting. Rielle Hunter (Lisa Druck) was pictured in the National Inquirer coming out of Cary,NC near the state capital wearing a maternity shirt with a heart on it. There are 2 historic mansions in the city in which I live. One is near Hunter Wright stadium and the other is owned by an OBGYN; the bridge next to the second has the same structure as the bridge that collapsed in Minnesota. The situation looks to me like a Druck, a drunk, and a duck. This brings me back to my original position regarding Roe v Wade and right to life issues, and it is ground in stone and will never change because the big agenda right to life hero wannabee people will also never change. They seem quite willing to "abort" or "disrupt" the lives of the already born in their quest for fame and attention if the situation becomes a "problem". My OBGYN was on the internet in Washington after my exhusband died. He went bankrupt while working at the Women's Cascade Group. There is a pharmacist Dishner who lives near the mansion owned by an OBGYN. Maybe "sugar daddy" came to town and did someone's dirty dishes. One can never be sure. Bill Frist was speaking at the local university when white powder was found in Elizabethton; 2 post offices and an ER were closed for several hours. He was also campaigning for Corker at Allendale mansion when CNN had Bill Mahr interviewing Harold Ford from Jackson,TN over the trashy commercial that was being run on national TV.
